Spectral Asylum: Echoes of The Forgotten pays homage to the original Slender The Eight Pages, and contains elements of Slender The Arrival alongside the Backrooms with its atmospheric and eerie notes for story telling. The game takes place in an abandoned asylum, and as you continue playing, you will discover new levels with varying entities and puzzles you must solve. You play as Nia Varinian, a senior in high school. While Nia isn't the most social, she most certainly is determined. What was supposed to be a year of looking forward to new beginnings, has turned into what will be the most unforgettable nightmare she will ever have.
