OLYEN is a first-person exploration and puzzle adventure set in a forgotten valley, where sunlight holds the key to unlocking ancient mechanisms.

You play as a speleologist who, after following the clues of a mysterious book, ventures into a cavern that leads to an impossible place: a valley frozen in time for millennia. There, he discovers that a group of ancient sages devoted their lives to studying the powers of light, raising monumental structures and interconnected mechanisms that defy logic.

Your only hope of escape is to learn how to harness sunlight and use it in combination with enigmatic devices to activate massive systems, solve intricate puzzle complexes, and progress ever deeper into the ruins. Each building is a dungeon in itself, a vast network of challenges where everything is connected.

As you explore, fragments of history emerge through notes, inscriptions, and echoes of the past. Little by little, the story of the sages who once inhabited the valley—and the purpose of their research—comes to light. Solving their secrets will not only open the way out, but also reveal the fate of those who tried to grasp the power of light before you.
