This demo covers the game's prologue, the first week, which introduces all the core elements of Japanese Salaryman: hacking, relationship building, and the everyday work of a salaryman, as well as a reduced map to explore.

About

Drowning in debt and trapped in the grind of 1990s corporate Japan, you're offered a way out: sell information on the company that signs your paycheck. As a security specialist at METTA East, you'll balance a double life—juggling office politics by day and corporate espionage by night.

Information & Reputation is your currency

Every day, you'll have to make small but increasingly impactful decisions while trying to balance your reputation between 4 factions: HR, Management, Security, and your Coworkers. You're reputation with different factions will make it easier (or harder) to steal information from your employer.

Hack out of your debt

Use your hacking talent to steal and sell information on your company by assembling dangerous hacks to crack secure servers.

Continually upgrade

As the information becomes more important, the security becomes tougher; continually upgrade your hacking ability by buying new upgrades to make more sophisticated attacks.
