This is an emulator for an old 16bit Japanese home computer from the late 1980s. The computer included hardware that was very similar to the arcade hardware of the time, which allowed it to run arcade-perfect ports of many then-popular games, as well as fostering a thriving homebrew community that is known for its punishing and frenetic "shmups".
